So, I'm having a sleep over tonight with 3 of my friends. 2 of them are like me, they are Directioners. The other is slowly becoming one.
We're kinda going crazy. We were only all together for 4 or 5 minutes and I was laughing so hard I was crying! Don't ask me what I was laughing about, I'm not entirely sure.
A few minutes later, we were all rolling on the floor laughing. Once again, I'm not sure why. Then we got onto a topic I remember. We were talking about dancing, and someone said another girl stretched a muscle in her chest. We were trying to figure out how. I gave my my idea and demonstrated it. I fell on the ground and started laughing.
I actually ended up laughing on the ground a lot. I had finished laughing one time, and then I had something to say. So, I popped out of my fetal position and said, "YOU GUYS!" That's about as far as I got before I was laughing again.
Now we're talking about one of the teachers at the school. Oh, the stories we're telling. I will have more updates throughout the night. So, here is part 1 of however many parts.
I'll ask my friends to add in and post every once in a while.

School
So, classes start up soon for me. In fact, I start August 26th. I'm not ready.
What do I mean, I'm not ready? Most people in my grade expect me to be the person that's ready the day after school is over. But, I have nothing in my locker, my notebooks are not in order under my locker shelf, and my pictures have yet to be hung. Not only that, I missed my material that I normally get at registration (I slept in and my mom didn't grab it).
In short, I'm not ready. But I already met 2 of our 3 new teachers, so I'm ahead. Kinda.
I would put all my stuff in my locker, but I have to work. All week. I like being a lifeguard, but I wish kids would listen.
I have a lifeguard rant. I will post it at some point. Maybe. When I think of it.
Sorry, this post is going everywhere. I'm really tired, so I'm not putting topics together.
I will end on this note: My friend doesn't know who No Face is.

Writer's Block
I know I haven't posted in a while, and that's because I'm very busy. So, I'm going to write a totally boring post, because I need to explain the second reason I almost never post.
I get writer's block whenever I look at a blank screen. During the day, I think "That would be cool to write about in my blog!" However, when I get to my blog, I totally forget my ideas. I sit here for an hour trying to think of something to write. I almost never write about what I intended to write.
So, here's my proposition: I will now make stuff up. Some of it will be true. Most of it will be fiction. I will try to post once a week. How does that sound? It will help me with my writing skills and give you readers something exciting to read.

Dead Theologians Society
I probably have not mentioned this yet, but I'm a Catholic. One of the convents in my area has started a Dead Theologians Society group. I just call it DTS for short. Well, it's a really great group and we have super awesome meetings. First thing we do is we play a game. Based on the weather and what we have, it will either be Ultimate Frisbee, Floor Hockey, or Mat Ball. I don't like play Floor Hockey, since I always seem to get injured. During the games, we're kinda relaxed. We talk to people you haven't seen in a month. For me, I could talk to my teachers outside of school and on a more personal level. After our game, we go to the basement of the Cathedral and eat. We sit in groups of 5 or 6, causing us to split into "family groups." My family group is made up of boys who like science fiction and, get this, reading (sorry Ben, Carl, and Cameron, but not a lot of guys that I know read). After dinner, we go to the fireside room. We go through the tunnels and follow the candle path. Yes, there are candles that light our path. When we get to the fireside room, it's lit up with candles. Lots of candles. Normally, that's the only light. However, our meetings in the fall and spring months are a little brighter at the beginning. We discuss the questions that we asked at the last meeting, then we start our meeting. Sr. Magdalena tells us the beginning life of a saint. We're mentally trying to guess which saint it is. After a while, she reveals the saint. She tells us more of their life, like how they died and the miracles that lead to their beatification. At the end, we can ask questions about the saint. After all the questions are done, we all pray together. We can ask for prayer intentions, and then we all pray for sinners and the souls in Purgatory. Afterwards, we have until 8 to talk more and say our good-byes. Normally, that leaves us 10 minutes. I love these meetings! If you live in the Diocese of New Ulm, you should come to one of the meetings. Comment for more information!

Mock Trial
As I sit here, looking at the blank screen, an idea comes to me. Why don't I post my opening statement that I gave for mock trial? People might find it interesting! Wait, but maybe I shouldn't. I mean, who really like mock trial outside of those who participate?
Oh well, I'm posting it anyway.
Oh well, I'm posting it anyway.
May
it please the court, Your Honors, opposing council, members of the
jury. In life, there are many choices. No matter the choice, it
always affects someone in either a positive or negative way. In the early morning hours of May 21st
2012, Dustin Beaver made a choice, to drink and drive, that
negatively affected Freddie Ferris.
On
May 20th
of 2012, it was prom night for Liberty High School. Starting at 8
pm., the students had a great time, dancing the night away. When it
ended at 11:30, the students could go from Liberty Catering to the
Liberty High School Gym, where the parents chaperoned an “after
prom” party. Many students chose not to go, Dustin Beaver and his
friends included. These seven students, Lee and Lauri Lincoln, Alex
Alvaro, Rene(e) Robbins, Pat Painter, Janet Johnson, and Dustin
Beaver instead went to Shelly Beach Marina. They went out in 2 boats, one owned by Mr. Beaver and one owned by Alex Alvaro. The students anchored out on the St. Croix River, drinking, talking, and having a good time. After a while, Rene(e) Robbins suggested to go tubing, so Alex Alvaro hitched two tubes to the back of his boat. These two boats started speeding down the river. Dustin yelled to Alex "Let's take it to the bridge!" and began to head towards Railroad Bridge. Freddie Ferris, a sophomore, and his friends were swimming in the area by Point Douglas Beach, near Railroad Bridge. He went missing
after the boats driven by Dustin Beaver and Alex Alvaro drove past
the area. He was found dead
after 4
days. The evidence will show that the cause of death, blunt force trauma, along with the injuries
sustained on Mr. Ferris' person are consistent
with being
hit by a boat. Mr.
Beaver stands trial as an adult, as determined by a Lakota Grand
Jury. Mr. Beaver's charges are Aggravated Manslaughter in the First
Degree and Death by Vehicular Homicide in the Second Degree.
Your Honors, today the prosecution bears the burden of
proof. We must prove to you today,
without a reasonable doubt, that Dustin Beaver is guilty
of both charges. Which means that, when we're all done here today,
you will be able to make a sound decision in our favor, without valid
reasoning against our accusations. For Aggravated Manslaughter, we
must prove to you that Dustin Beaver recklessly caused the death of
Freddie Ferris and did so under circumstances manifesting extreme
indifference to human life. For Death by Vehicular Homicide, we must
prove to you that Dustin Beaver caused the death of Freddie Ferris by
recklessly operating a vessel. This will not be a difficult task to
accomplish.
To help prove our case, we will call Detective Eric
Evans, Lee Lincoln, and Dr. Shelly Storm. Detective Evans will
testify that
the younger a person is, there is an increased likelihood of an
accident, Freddie Ferris and his friends, who were swimming, were
screaming, and finally, that the cause of death of Freddie Ferris and
his injuries are consistent with being hit by a boat. Mr/Ms. Lincoln
will testify today that Mr. Beaver was drinking a large amount, he
was driving recklessly, and finally that Mr. Beaver did not care that
he may have hit a swimmer.
Dr. Storm will testify that s/he reviewed the affidavits
of Lee Lincoln, Alex Alvaro, Rene(e) Robbins, and spoke with
Detective Evans, created a toxicology report that showed Mr. Beaver's
BAC was 0.08% or above, and finally that gradual variations in
drinking habits are insignificant.
In life, there are many choices. No matter the choice,
it always affects someone in either a positive or negative way. In the early morning hours of May 21st, 2012, Dustin Beaver made a choice,
to drink and drive, that negatively affected Freddie Ferris. I ask
the members of the jury to find Mr. Beaver guilty of Aggravated
Manslaughter in the First Degree and Vehicular Homicide in the Second
Degree.

Rhett and Link
I'm not sure if I could get in trouble for using that for my title, cuz I'm pretty sure it's trademarked. Anyways, I recently, thanks to my amazing Religion teacher, "stumbled" upon some YouTube videos made by two guys named Rhett and Link. This will be a short post, I promise. These two are very good at making people laugh! If you want to see something that makes fun of Christmas Carols, look up "YouTube Caption Fail: Christmas Carols." If you want to watch an awesome music video, look up "My Favorite Pillow (Backwards)." These are both very funny videos. I hope you check them out and they make you laugh!

Musicals
I guess I forgot some things in my recent posts. I've always meant to post the fact that I was triple casted in my school's musical, however I get different ideas of what to post as I stare at the blank screen. This year, we are performing the Wizard of Oz, and I play a Munchkin, a Poppy, and a Beautician. As a Munchkin, I get to dance in a silly way. I get to make all the parts that are not choreographed in the song whatever I want. I can jump up and down, I can dance, I can even sit down! I'm not sure exactly what I do as a Poppy, but I do know that I try to hinder Dorthy and Crew from going to Emerald City. As a Beautician, I get to stuff the Scarecrow with new straw. I'm having a lot of fun with my parts, but I don't like the fact that I've had to practice over my Christmas break. I also don't fully know the dance for the Beautician (I had missed a day due to sickness), so I'm a little behind. Also, I think that some of the Munchkins learned an extra dance that I also need to know, but I can't find anyone who can teach me (I'm a little stressed over this!!). Anyway, the musical is a little different from the movie, and I think the musical has more jokes than the movie. That's all I really have to post, so I'll wish you all a Happy New Year!!
